Pendleton started out as a singer on the streets of New York’s Greenwich Village and singing above the rumble of the mighty engines on the Staten Island Ferry. He went from there to numerous night clubs, several Broadway shows and a recording contract with the prestigious, Columbia Records. He continued a career in entertainment in Hollywood on various TV shows. One of his booking agents (Karen Covell, of the Hollywood Prayer Network), led him to receive Christ and his life began to change.
Since then, he has written many songs and performed in numerous churches and other venues in the U.S., and many countries across the globe. An ordained minister and Children’s Pastor for over 10 years, Pendleton (Pastor Pen) is delighted to be on staff at the mighty, multi-cultural Liberty Church in Marietta, Georgia. He has continued his recording, concert, and out reach ministries to children all around the world.
Pendleton Brown, is the proud husband of Janee (Former Snow White at Disneyland) and father of 2 very cool teenage guys, Eli and the Ace (short for Eliakim and Asaph) and an extremely fine 9 year old daughter, Hosanna. The boys play great drums and bass and the girl sings and has a wonderfully whacky puppet she calls Cinqa.
He has done numerous concerts and services for children and families at 100s of churches of all denominations. With a background that includes many performances in New York’s Broadway theaters, concert work all over the world and numerous recordings, Pendleton assures a high quality professional performance aimed at having great wholesome fun for all ages.
In order to make this program affordable to all families, suggested prices for ticket sales may range from 50 cents to $5. Adults (or children) might attend free. Perhaps local merchants (Toys R Us, Chucky Cheese, MacDonald’s, etc.) would be willing to sponsor the event. Bookings are available on week nights, and on some Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (matinee or evenings). Time permitting, engagement may also include a free appearance at a local outreach.
Honorariums make possible the missionary evangelism outreach of this ministry, such as, Orphanages in Jamaica, fledgling churches in Russia, and Eastern Europe, children living at city dumps in Mexico, etc. Honorariums are negotiable according to need and availability, and can be greatly reduced for week nights in North America.
